New SoftBank Wifi Spot Logo T-Shirt, Already Sold Out

Born out of a tweet by Masayoshi Son, president of SoftBank Co., is a Uniqlo-collaborative t-shirt adorned with the cute Softbank “Wi-Fi Available Here” logo on the front, sold starting today at 950 yen for a limited run of 500 t-shirts. The product page comes with a warning to the effect that “This t-shirt has no wifi hotspot capabilities.” The t-shirt was available on the Softbank SELECTION online store and at the Softbank stores in Omotesando and Roppongi, but the web store was already sold out of the t-shirts before 3:40 pm.
Update: Both stores are out of the Medium and Large size t-shirts, with only a handful of Small size ones left (Omotesando: “about ten”; Roppongi: “very little”). There are apparently no plans to restock.
Darn!
