While we admit that offering a Windows CE 6.0 MID nowadays is a bit “Strange”, especially with the huge wave of Android-based tablets that’s going to hit us soon, Taxan Japan decided however to propose its latest MID, the Méopad (MEO-T740) running Microsoft latest Windows CE version the 6.0 R3.

Our little MID comes with a 7” (800×480) LED backlight touchscreen, a Tegra Chipset (NVIDIA APX 2600 TEGRA 600MHz), 4GB of NAND memory, 512MB of RAM, WiFi B/G, Mini HD Port, G-Sensor… And sold with different accessories including a carrying pouch with integrated cradle and keyboard.

The MEO-T740, according to Taxan, is capable of recording 720p video as well as YouTube Video thanks to FlashLite, and will be available at the end of October in Japan at around 40,000 Yen.
