JVC add a Wood Cone Compact Hi-Fi with iPhone 4 support to its catalog

JVC’s Wood Cone is normally aimed at the company’s high-end goods, but little by little this technology is gaining momentum in entry level products like today’s EX-S1.
JVC’s new EX-S1 is a compact, yet powerful Hi-Fi, offering not only the usual CD Player and Radio combo but also support of Apple’s latest generation of iPod and iPhone as well as a USB port in order to play MP3 and WMA files directly from any USB thumb drive.
Available in 4 different colors with the usual Black, White, Pink and Silver, the EX-S1 thanks to its Wood Cone should normally offer you a more “Natural” sound close to what you should be capable of hearing directly from the instrument. While this sounds pretty promising, this technology is normally made to reproduce the “natural” sound of wooden instrument, like a guitar, or violin… So unless you are listening to classical music, you may not see a real difference here.
