Huge 155-inch OLED Screen to be Showcased at CEATEC Japan

Everybody dreams of a wall-sized display in their homes to watch movies in a movie theater-like environment without actually leaving the house – at least, I do. Diamond Vision, the world’s first organic light emitting diode (OLED) display was announced by Mitsubishi to go on sale on the 21st of September. Made up of bezel-less square modules with sides measuring 38.4 cm (15.12 inches), these screens will only be 99 millimeters thick, which, along with the 80-degree viewing angles, enables their use in “limited spaces such as narrow paths and station concourses.”
A 155-inch screen made out of these square modules will be on display at Mitsubishi’s CEATEC Japan 2010 booth from the 5th of October at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.
