Optimus Chic LG-E720, LG’s answer to the iPhone 4? No… Not really.

LG’s answer to the iPhone 4? We may over-exaggerate this a little, but at least the Optimus Chic is LG’s latest flagship smartphone that will better place the company in this very competitive market.
Offered in a simple “Bar Type” design, the Optimus Chic is powered by Google’s latest OS, Froyo, also known as Android 2.2, and comes with quite underwhelming specs with a small 3.2-inch HVGA (320×480) capacitive touchscreen, a 600 MHz CPU, 150MB of internal memory, Bluetooth, and a 5Mpix AF Camera in a package weighing just 132g.
Sure this new Optimus Chic comes thanks to Android with support for pretty much any kinds of documents, audio files, video and pictures as well as offering Wi-Fi, FM radio tuner, DLNA, GPS, and compass… but nothing that others already offer with a better screen and a more powerful CPU.
Far from being the iPhone 4 Killer, the Optimus Chic may be the ideal “Dumb” phone replacement for people willing to jump into the smartphone world.
