I.D.E.A Japan sent us last week their latest cute Ceramic Pig Speaker to test. Just one of many ceramic shaped animals available on the I.D.E.A Japan catalog, our little “piglet” is a real piece of art.

Offered in a simple yet elegant carton box, our Ceramic Pig comes with an audio cable and a universal silicon cradle made to match most recent DAPs.

Extremely well designed and well executed, our Ceramic “Piglet” comes with a 40mm driver unit offering a 3W output. With such output, you many not use this little pig for your next rave party, but if you do not push the volume to its maximum you will get quite a decent sound, just enough to actually get some nice ambiance music if you have friends at home or just enough to let your kid play in their room with their DAP.

Twist of faith, design idea or more probably humorous, our Ceramic Pig Speaker line-in input is placed where you would normally find our Pig little tail…

Anyway, sold between 6000 to 10,000 yen in Japan this Ceramic Pig and its friends are just a cute and stylish way to add an invisible speaker around your house or at the office… Definitively a must have!
