4 new IPS-based LG monitors

From now on, Apple is no longer the only company to use LED-backlit IPS screens in their products.
LG has announced 4 new desktop monitors combining IPS panel technology with LED backlighting: the IPS206T (20″), IPS226V (21.5″), IPS236V and IPS2321P (both 23 inches). With the exception of the 20 inches, they all have 1080p resolution and refresh with a 6ms response time. Like all IPS panels, they feature a wide 178-degree viewing angle, but they also have a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 250cd/m2 brightness.
The design is kept in black, glossy plastic and only the professional model IPS231P has height, tilt, swivel, pivot and built-in speakers. IPS226V and IPS236V both feature HDMI and all of the monitors have D-SUB (VGA) and DVI.
