Pentax Optio RS1000 and NB1000, the first “Lego” like Point & Shoot

Here you are: another series of Point & Shoot cameras from Pentax, the RS1000 and NB1000. Both are 14.1Mpix Camera with a 4x optical Zoom, capable of recording 720p video as well as offering several “Photo Modes”, our two cameras come in different colors and can even be “tuned” to your liking thanks to the Pentax Personal Skin Designer option.
But, by far the most interesting model is the NB1000. Technically identical to the RS1000, this model comes with a “bloc” or “Lego” like body where you will be able to “dress up” your camera by yourself. This is because the “Lego” bumps on the body of the camera are the same size as the ones on the Nanoblock, a series of blocks available in different colors and sizes sold by the Japanese company Diablock.
This model, unique to the Japanese market, will be offered later this year in Japan at around 20,000 Yen.
