Akiba TV : Cos Play at the Hobby World Festival

So after the little figurines at the Hobby World Festival, here’s a small video of Cos Play organized during the event. We (Danny and me) were impressed by the seriousness and professionalism of certain competitors during this event. Every pose was timed and it wasn’t as “fun” as anticipated.

One had to queue to have their picture taken, and the contestants and photographers were quite stressed. This was the first time that I attended such an event, and honestly, I was a bit disappointed because this was not a cheerful and happy event, it was very serious indeed. I though the Cost Play thing was quite strange… it almost sent chills down the spine to be honest!
