Smell my web

NTT presented their WebOSmell today (I just made that name up, the final product won’t be called like that). Thanks to NTT and a big football next to your PC, you will have the possibility to “smell” the website you’re visiting. The balloon is capable of generating various scents that are encoded in the website. To present this whole thing, a girl was needed, so I got up from my chair, clapped my hands 3 times and bam, there she is, Ms Fujita. She’s as stupid as pretty… I think she looks absolutely awful with those fake nails, eyelashes and 20 tons of make-up on her face… but she is no exception in Japan, there’s plenty of girls like that over here, and then they do that annoying little V-sign with their fingers after which they shake your hand… gooood girl, want a biscuit now?
Anyway, she takes care of the promotion of this 537 EUR product… and all I can say is WOW, because other than for cheese manufacturers or perfume websites, I don’t see any real life benefit…

So, if you want to access the fake nails site, it’s over here: http://blog.livedoor.jp/sifow/

This must have won the prize to the most useless PC hardware EVER. Oh my God, smell for your PC, what’s next?

And the girl does look like a make up truck just ran over her!
