Panasonic introduces 4 new TOUGHBOOK in Japan with the 31 Series and 19 Series.
Panasonic TOUGHBOOK are among the most impressive PC we ever had the chance to play with. Capable to resist to pretty much everything, water, bust, vibration a fall up to 1m2 on hard concrete, as well as being literally used as a chair since they can resist a pressure up to 120kg… TOUGHBOOK without a doubt made for the modern Indiana Jones.
Also today’s TOUGHBOOK, comes in 2 different flavors with a 13.1” model, the TOUGHBOOK 31 Series and its Intel Core i5-520M vPro CPU, 2GB of RAM (Max 6), a XGA resolution, 3G, Bluetooth and 160GB of HDD. While the TOUGHBOOK19 Series, the second model announced today, comes with a 10.1” XGA monitor, an Intel Core i5-540UM vPro CPU, the same amount of RAM and HDD, as well as 3G.
Both the TOUGHBOOK 31 Series and 19 Series comes with a touchpanel with the possibility for the 19 Series to offer a “Slate” mode thanks to its orientable LCD.
Please make sure to check the gallery below, there are some pretty impressive shots like Panasonic Water-resistant PC Fan working at full speed under water or like this shot where Panasonic staff drop a running TOUGHBOOK 31 Series into a bucket of water.
