The HD-DVD is delayed

According to the very serious Tech-On (just like Akihabara News btw) and published through Nikkei BP, Toshiba will not produce a HD-DVD player in 2005. Granted, the year is over in 15 days, but didn’t Toshiba announce their first player during this year? Tech-On adds however that this would only be a short delay and that the device should arrive beginning 2006 and that the delay is due to the AACS (Advanced Access Content System) copy protection license. so, Mr Toshiba, it’s ok to release the device without this function… no seriously it won’t harm anyone and you’ll definitely sell a lot of these players.
