MP3 player-PMP-DivX 2.5″ HDD casing

Here’s a VERY good initiative: the Japanese company called AXES will offer the X-Drive, a MP3/Mpeg4/DivX player with a 2.5″ screen that supports 2.5″ HDD’s. It’ll be available without or with a 40 or 80GB HDD.

When it comes to video, it supports 640×480 Mpeg4′s at 30fps or 720×480′s at 25fps, and it has a video-out port. Music files can be in the MP3, WMA and AAC format. There is even a memory card slot that allows OTG use, so you can empty your CF cards onto the HDD. Needless to say that there is a battery that gives a battery life of 2.5 hours. Dimensions of this ultimate Geek’s device are 128×76.5x30mm for 282g.

    WTF? It only supports Pro Duo MS up to 512mb and SD upto 1gig?!? Thats not very helpful at all!
