Samsung YP-Q3 PMP now official.

Here you are Samsung latest compact PMP, the YP-Q3. Designed in elegant aluminum frame with a glossy back, the YP-Q3 comes with a redesign, color matching GUI, revised GUI and UCI or User Created Interface, the YP-Q3 comes with a large compatibility of files ranging from the H.264 ones to your good old WMA, WMV, OGG, XviD, MP3… Text Viewer, FM Radio, Voice Recorder, 5.1Ch SoundAlive audio and Task manager.
Finally Samsung announce 45h of music playback and 6h for Video.

Schedule to be unveiled at IFA 2010 the YP-Q3 will soon hit Europe later this September, so we will have to wait a little bit longer to get both price and storage capacity available for the YP-Q3.

The design is adorable. The color is more brilliant than Q2, the one that I’m using now, and it has transformed its image completely to a round, more cute design. Due to the aluminum frame design, I think Black color will look even more luxurious if I see the actual product.

The display is small but what’s good about Q3 is that you can enjoy 5.1 channel virtual surround stereo when watching video. The SoundAlive sound engine supports various modes and if you set it to the theater mode, you will feel as if you were in cinema,,, or maybe not quite so. The display is too small for that.

I really like all Samsung players! especially this one Q3! I wanna try it – if its screen is really good for watching movies, and if the sound is ok, i am sure i will recommend this stuff to my friends))

compared to existing products, Q3 is more effective in reproducing musical beat and more vividly delivers the vocal voice. People’s voice is clearly delivered without being disturbed by musical instrument or sound effect. It also plays the low tones well, which I like, but also has a good balance with high tone =^^=
