AKIBA TV : the iDOG is dead, long live the iMartian! (IZ)

Sega, the inventor of the iDOG presents yet another toy in the same range, the iMartian! Ok, we admit, that’s not its real name, it’s really called IZ. It does the same thing as an iDOG but it has more sounds and “personality”, and it can be hooked up to an MP3 player. So the more you touch it, the more noise it makes!

I believe that this product was also marketed as the IZ by Zizzle licenced by SEGA. I have seen a few of these in stores….they are more annoying than anything else…..I liked the iDog better

This isn’t as cute as the iDog, but will probably sell pretty well. Kind of reminds me of some of the aliens in the Men in Black movies.

I really like the Akihabara News posts, but why don’t you provide links to the manufacturers sites. Engadget and other cool websites all provide that type of link so people can get other information about gadgets they’re seriously interested in.
