Canon is having the very mighty technology ability at DSLR body side, (not talk about the lenses side). However, the events of Eos7d Eos60d let us seemed seen Nikon practically led a market layout, and not the Canon. Canon is always late to chase with the Nikon, it is ludicrous, it how see merely oneself nose.

If Canon uses the 1.3x sensor in the Eos7d, and not the dual processors, probably it would be created a new sale record in the semi-Pro DSLR territory. However, Canon said that its 1.3x sensor is the rare XO aquavit way, which will must be storing 100 years in cellar!

I've got the 50, 7 soon, but no way i'm buying this shabby plastic hinged screen thingy they put onto this one. 40D and 50D were very close to the 5D's in quality and performance, but this new kid on the block really won't get sold to the serious semipro for the lack of feats. Actually the 550D which is a consumer DSLR would be a better/cheaper pick for anybody in need of something more serious than a point & shoot.

I have already heard many of the disgruntled voice about the Canon Eos60d, never seen a new camera has just now been released then it could be so fleetly got widely criticized.

Famed website imaging-resource has published the comment of eos60d, about the AutoFocus is a comment like below:
Unlike the 50D and 7D, the Canon 60D lacks the Lens AF Micro-adjustment custom function, which allows you to tune the camera's autofocus to compensate for lenses that back or front-focus. Not all lenses are tuned just right, but this tool can help make a slightly soft lens a whole lot better. It's a shame of an omission.

'It's a shame of an omission.' wow!

The AF micro-adjust function is just a firmware to write out, did not have any components to be added, that is not uplifted components cost, only a partial of firmware to be developed.

I think that the Eos60d not a upgrade vs eos50d, it is truly a downgrade thing from eos50d. Probably Canon tries to imitate of the Nikon ploy of D90. Yes, D90 is a successful camera on the market, but it is launched into the market 2008, not the 2010. In today, that Canon tries to imitate of the Nikon ploy of D90, then it could only get a ludicrous effection.

Canon has absurdly canceled the AF micro-adjust in a newest Eos60d, and claimed that the Eos60d is a mid-level DSLR. Really, this policy is a truly asinine behavior from Canon businessman.

Ok, Eos7d is too high pricing and a plastic mirror-box base (though a metallic shell), and the 1.6x sensor is a smaller size than competitor; Eos60d is merely a practically entry level, and then Nikon would get more opportunities.

Nikon D300s and D300 are having a beefy alloy mirror-box base in an inboard core, not only a metallic shell. (In fact, a plastic shell not a trouble, but the alloy mirror-box base is really worth.)

Could Nikon be to provide the AF fine tune in D95?

We are usually talking about the AF-error, but the various lenses are actually showing the respective AF-error! It is not a singly AF-error on the camera body. So you will need the AF adjustable storage into the camera body.

Canon has taken the AF fine tune on eos50d or a higher, but the Nikon d90 is no AF fine tune. I would never buy a camera lacked the AF fine tune.
