Podcasting is so ancient that it’s dead already!

So you thought that you were instant-cool and up-to-date by listening to Podcasts… well, think again… in Japan (outside of Japan you might be cool for a few more months/years, depending on the level of civilization your country has reached)! According to a news published on Yahoo! Asia (Kyodo News), the Podcast is very popular with people in their fourties… and that’s already less hip, right? Be aware that I didn’t read the article in a thorough way, but the title said “Podcasting getting popular in Japan among middle aged, elderly” and in the article there wew people between 30 and 40… for me middle-aged people are in their fourties or fifties, but my opinion as a 31-year old guy seems to conflict with Yahoo’s opinion about age. With this kind of loggic, Yahoo will not make a lot of friends though…

it’s popular among middle age and over the hill folks because these people have known and listen to radio in their time. Back when families don’t even own a TV. So it is natural for even an 70 year old man to love podcasting.

your title of ipod being “dead already” seems wrong.
you mean it’s for old folks like 31 year old, right?

This news was juste there for the fun and there are nothing “deep” to think about it, I just wanted to play with the fact that most people will think that PODCASTING is a stuff for younger generation from 15 to 30 not for 40 to…

And the title of this article was pretty funny, and change our way to think about who use PODCAST. Not a young Hacker but maybe a retired Lady…
