Samsung SHW-A220S Pimp My Phone. Samsung new Approach to Mobile converge.
Sure we are all for Mobile convergence nowadays, but don’t we forget here about our basic needs to “pimp” at will our beloved gadgets? And if you feel the urge to do so, Samsung has just what you need with their latest SHW-A220S phone.
No thing too fancy here, the SHW-A220S is your average “Dumb Phone” but that came with the particularity to be “tuned” as will thanks to a dedicated UI and casing that will let you build up your own character like you would do with your XBLA Avatars but in a rather less “serious” way. Yep you guessed it right, the SHW-A220S is dedicated to young women looking for the perfect toy to dress at will.
Spec-wise, our SHW-A220S comes with basic features including, WiFi, a Web Browser, Email, Messenger…
The Nori phone (model names: SHW-A220S/K/L), which are follow-up versions of the Corby and Yu-Na’s Haptic — still popular in the feature phone market — are designed to be in sync with the positive traits of the youth these days.
The phone was conceptualized so that it may encourage the youth to overcome, or even enjoy seemingly harsh reality — like they are ‘playing’ some games — in the fiercely competitive world these days.
The Nori phone also hopes to tap into another trait of the youth: a keen interest in ‘personalizing’ their own unique tastes. To this end, the new model come equipped with a total of eight kinds of character protection film and stickers (adhesive on the front body or back), offering a broad variety of chance to express individual ‘personality’ — by selecting any likable UI accordingly — for the consumers.
