Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700 available in Japan

Also announced last week, the Lumix DMC-FX700 is now availble in Japan. Priced at 40 000 Yens, or 352€, our Point & Shoot camera comes with 14.1 megapixel 1/2.33” MOS Sensor, a LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens, 5x optical Zoom, an ISO Sensitivity range from ISO 100 to 1600, a 3.0-Inch LCD touch-screen, 40MB of memory (expandable via SD/SDHC/SDXC xards) and a Full HD Video mode (1920 x 1080/60i or 1280 x 720 60p in AVCHD format).
For the rest of the specs, Panasonic installed an Auto Scene mode, the Intelligent ISO, Intelligent Exposure, etc…
