Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 finally available in Japan

Already introduced last week in the USA, Panasonic finally decided to announce the availability of their latest Lumix LX5 in Japan…
Scheduled to be available on August 20th in Japan, at about 60 000 Yens (529€), the Lumix LX5 boasts the same characteristics as the American version with an 10.1 megapixel 1/1.63’’ CCD sensor, a Leica DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens with a 3.8x optical zoom, an ISO sensitivity up to 12 800, the Power O.I.S image stabilizer, a video recording mode in 720/60p (AVCHD Lite) and a RAW mode.
