The MiniPC’s are back

The wave of Switchers joining the MAC world (and especially Mini’s, like myself) have given an injection to the mini PC manufacturers… ok, they’re still ugly and only the Aopen version might be a good solution…
Anyway, MiniPC Japan presents their new Mini PC Fanless, measuring 160x125x55cm, which is 20% smaller than a MAC Mini… but it’s also 300% more ugly than a Mini. So, no DVD drive (20% smaller eh?) and Pentium M and Celeron M support. Price/performance wise it’s not all good either, this MiniPC retails for double the price of a MAC Mini… not bad ah? That horrible looking, expensive piece of kit will REALLY stop people from joining the MAC side. So get your act together, it’s not like MAC has employed the only good designer on this planet, right? Try to innovate like MAC! Personally I would be ashamed to put this next to my Mini…

That system looks like someone fabricated it in their mothers basement. If a person wanted to stick to the Pc platform they could allways invest in a MicroATX case and a Via EPIA motherboard. Not alot of room for expandibility but atleast it would look better

True but we need more stuff like this and more exactly in offices and to save place you stick it under the table and here you are ! The best thin ever would be just a Screen, Keyb & mouse, the PC case could be anywhere else in the room

true….maybe we should design a thinPC that is so small that it could be mounted to the underside of your desk and not cause any space problems.
