A MAC clone from Korea

PC fans have always dream of having such a beautiful G5 tower, and this might be the solution. You have to admit that the G5 tower looks the part and personally I would like to get one, rip out the MAC motherboard and replace it with a PC motherboard… but I think that:

1) I would not exactly gain a lot of friends
2) Steve Jobs would put a price on my head
3) I would have to spend a lot of money

The Korean company SPIKOREA presents this ICE II, and despite the fact that it’s not as pretty as the G5, I think it’s quite a good design (I don’t like the power button and the blue light of the fan). This case is available in black, white and red.

Its the prize you hace to pay when the front side fan is removed…

there are so many things that they just went way to overboard with on this case…..If they were going for the person who liked the appeal of the G5 case they might have wanted to not put so much crap on the front bezel. If I saw correctly the button assembly says sparkle on it….I can understand that they would want to put the name on it….but really dont emboss the button assembly with ugly things. Also they should have really put more thought into that side casefan assembly. I believe they probably could have saved some money in manufacturing these units if they would have flush mounted that fan instead of making a huge glowing bubble for it to fit in.
