Category: Image - Tags:
The Japanese company byd:Sign does it again, this time with a 42″ plasma TV for only 1430 EUR! The specs of this TV are the following: 10000: contrast ratio and 1500cd/m2 brightness. Granted, it’s not HD because the resolution is set at 852×480, but you can’t have it all for that price eh?

Here in Sweden there´s a 42″ Plasma (852×480) for €1090. So what is the fuzz about?
One of the more intresting big-screens I’ve found is the Acer AT3705W,
37″ LCD with 1980×1080. Contrast 800:1, brightness 550 cm/m².
With DVB-T, RJ45, 802.11g WLAN, Linux MCE, 4x Scart (2x RGB), 2x Component, D-Sub, DVI-D (HDCP), HDMI.
Supports DivX/Xvid/WMV, MP3/OGG, JPG/PNG.
This comes for only €1650. That’s a really nice price! Only poor thing seems to be the Contrast/Brightness, but it’s not that bad for beeing an LCD.
I’d love to see some SED-screens sooN!
WOW Cool any link ?

Not so bad i think, clean look. It says 9998:- thats SEK, the Euro is 9,53 SEK so that’s about €1050..
There’s also a Firstline 42″ Plasma for the same price, at another big TV/Media-storechain.
EDIT: Edited my first post, the price for that 37″ LCD is €1650(!). That’s cheap stuff!
