So someone bought a Mac Mini, which was designed to remove excess BS from your desk, and decided to add a bunch of excess BS? Might as well just buy a Mac Pro. What would they have done if they had bought an iMac, which has even LESS stuff on your desk?

Guys we are talking about MAC, the Company (Apple) were being a lawyer is more profitable than being a dev, so I am sure that this has been done in purpose in order to not being sued or whatever…

Right you are, the surfaces would be more than warm.

But what one ‘could’ do would be to make these as a basepoint for a monitor instead of an uber-tower. That, I think would work.

How come the white LEDs cant match up? that looks really uncoordinated. Also the HDD caddy "separate" looks too plain on the fron. Don't get me wrong, I think that the idea is good, but lacks the cosmetic excellence that I woudl like to accompany mac mini accessories. Also, stereo separation is going to be fairly poor as the sat. speakers are about 6 inches apart (if that) and most people wont have a tower like that directly in front of them (this is where we keep the screen remember ) and also isnt 15w a bit underpowered for a sub? I'm used to at least 25 (my current rig has a 40 watt rms sub) Finally, and I really dont want to sound as though I am flaming this product... but is it a great idea to put a hard drive under the mac? The gpu uses the surface the mac rests on as a heatsink. A hard drive case doesnt exactly have a cold temperature most of the time.... Just my two cents, Callandor
