LG’s Java Smartphone

Until now, there were only 2 big players in the closed up smartphone world, Microsoft and Symbian (which is written with 2 i’s in Korea for some reason), and there was a small niche for Linux-powered products. LG tries to enter this specific segment with their first device (this time it’s a phone) that has a 100% Java OS (SavaJe) that can prove a valid competitor for the WM phones on the market.

Very important to know is that this phone adopts the GSM standard, and it will be available from Orange and Vodafone.
