Sky announced its Vega IM-A650S, a new Android 2.1 Smartphone from Pantech.

Launched in Korea in order to counter attack the iPhone 4 over there, the Vega IM-A650S made by Pantech and sold via Sky, comes with Android 2.1 (2.2 upgrade possible when available), a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, , the Usual Google Gizmos, a 3D UI, Pre-load T-Cash payment system and a nice 3.7” multitouch AMOLED screen. Finally Sky and Pantech claims that this Vega IM-A650S is also 23g lighter than the iPhone with a total weight of 114g.
