In an interesting twist of faith, ZTE the Chinese manufacturer, came to Wireless Japan with some pretty interesting phones and actually better than what other Japanese manufacturer were displaying today, with for example the :

ZTE X950 Smooth, a Phone capable to runs Windows Mobile 6.X or Android Eclair, comes with GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as HSDPA/UMTS, has a QVGA 2.8” Screen, a 3.2Mpix Camera with AF, FM Tuner and A-GPS

ZTE X880 Blade. Comes with Android Eclair only, support GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as HSDPA/UMTS, as a 3.5” WVGA Touchpanel, a 3Mpix Camera module with AF, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM Radio

ZTE Penguin (Photo above), runs on Android (unkown version), as a 2.8” QVGA screen, a 3.2Mpix Camera, Bluetooth 2.0, G-Sensor and Compass

ZTE Raise. Powered by Windows 6.X or Android Eclair, support GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as HSDPA/UMTS, as a 3.2” 240×400 Touch Panel, 3.2Mpix Camera with AF, WiFi, GPS…

ZTE N72. Runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, use CDMA2000 1x EVDO RevA network, has a 2.5” Touch-panel with a QVGA resolution, a QWERTY Keyboard, 3.2Mpix Camera with AF.

Only available as concept, ZTE also unveiled the :

“Fantasy”, a phone made with recyclable materials and comes with an integrated solar panel on its back.

“Flashing” coming with an embedded rotary charging module, to let you manually recharge your phone wherever you are.

“Magnolia”… No information

“Double” comes with an integrated solar panel than you can orientate the way you like to let you use the phone while charging it.
