Let's Visit Tokyo - Lazona Kawasaki

Here you are the let’s visit Tokyo are back, better than never and with an improved player and HTML5 support… Anyway today’s Let’s Visit Tokyo is a bit special, since actually it not has been shot in Kawasaki at “Lazona” a few station away form the Office.

What so special about Lazona, well… Lazona is a typical Japanese modern shopping mall, with everything you would expect from the fashion store, to the pet store, Movie theater with IMAX, Restaurant, Food mall, Arcade Center…

What I like about Lazona is first of all its design with a beautiful observation deck. With many nice stores and restaurant Lazona is a nice place for shopping if you happen to live around Kawasaki. Traveling in Japan and happen to miss “western” still food, just go and check some of Lazona best restaurant you will definitively find what you are looking for. Now if you are more interested in a more traditional Japanese experience, well, don’t waist your time !

Being an iPad owner, I was really excited to see that the site was converting to HTML5 but unfortunately it is not working, I can see that the video is loading since I see the first picture but unfortunately I can’t start it since there are no controls showing up to play/pause, etc…

    • Daimaou – G-A.G

We are working on some improvement, the player we are using is not the one we were suppose to implement, so don’t worry things will change.

Thak You very much. I have visited Kawasaki at 2008, lived for a week in a hotel (seen in your video at 04:40 mark, at left side of the frame). Unfortunately, You have not showed to us Lazona lighting – here is an example. http://www.imagebam.com/image/a4ef7588180723

hi is there a full screen option or am I being dumb?

    • Daimaou – G-A.G

Yes there is, but this will depend of your Browser of choice (HTML5), Firefox does not include this yet, Safari does, Chrome apparently not, IE… LOL.

  • Ike

Firefox does include this. Just right click in the video and choose “Full screen” :)
