We kind of suspected this, but now it’s official, this is the brand new Xacti C6! Available in Vintage Silver, Spark Ring Ruby and Onyx Black. As you might have deducted from the name, it’s a 6MP camera and sanyo worked a lot to make the device look more like a video camera, by upping the frame rate from 30fps to 60fps with some software tweaks for example. This little trick uses the 30fps rate as a base amd there is also a movement detection system that renders more fluid video images than before. You also get a 60x zoom (optical and then digital). So all in all a nice machine that we can’t wait to test!
