Acer to take over HP’s throne for the World’s biggest laptop supplier
According to one of the articles on today’s Wall Street Journal, Acer already took over HP in the first quarter of this year by shipping 9.49 million units of laptops as compared to Hewlett Packard’s (HP) 9.47 million. And according to the ACER Chairman J.T. Wang they will be the biggest laptop vendor of the World by the end of the year.
Recently Acer are also prepping to invest $15 million “to develop a smartphone platform based on Google Inc.’s Android.”
