Sony added the SMC tech to their Vaio Z and Y series

Sony US sent us a press release this morning to announce us their new VAIO Z and Y series will now features the SMC Technology, or Share My Connection.
For those who are not aware with this technology, the SMC will allow you to turn your PC into a mobile wireless access point. Thanks to this technology, you will have the possibility to connect up to five other PCS / Mobile device / PMP/ Smartphones / cameras to the Internet. According to the Japanese manufacturer, this will allow people to save money by sharing a single network connection.

Regarding specifications, the Z model features a 13.1 inch high-resolution LED backlit widescreen display with Full HD resolution, Core i7-620M @2.66GHz / Core i5-540M @ 2.53 GHz / Core i5-520M @ 2.40 GHz, up to 8GB of RAM, Wi-Fi, 512GB of SSD, or 500GB of HDD, a Blu-Ray disc Drive…

The Y series is now available in 5 new colors, including purple violet, fuchsia pink, pear green, teal blue and black. It features a 13.3 inch LED backlight screen with Core i3 or I 5 processors.
