Olympus to launch their new Voice Trek DM-4

The latest Voice Record from Olympus, the Voice Trek DM-4 should be available from July. Priced at 30 000 Yens, the DM-4 is introduced as a flagship model.
It features a nice 2.2 inch color LCD screen with a QVGA resolution (320 x 240), with nice new features like the Calendar. Thanks to this function, you will have the possibility to save all your appointment and been alerted by an alarm.
And for blind or deaf people, Olympus seems to have thought about everything. Indeed, the Japanese manufacturer has integrated a “Text – Speech” function which will read text file for blind people, or display text on the LCD screen downloaded from your computer. Olympus also prepared a Braille instruction manual to be sure that everyone can enjoy this new device.
As for the specifications, the Voice Trek DM-4 can record sound in Linear PCM mode, (48 kHz/ 16bit) MP3 Mode (44.1 kHz/ 320kbps), and WMA mode. It features 8GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD / SDHC cards).
Lastly, it comes with a lithium ion battery with a battery life span of 12 hours (Linear PCM mode).
