Eizo’s Fortis TV

Eizo, renowned for their screens, will present an LCD TV range in Japan. They are HDMI ready, they have a digital TV tuner, an FM tuner and iLink. Screen sizes range from a 19″ (1280×76 to a 26″ for the SC series, and the latter has a big panel underneath the screens that hides the speakers.

Eizo is also a manufacturer that opposes to the battle of having the biggest screen for health reasons. The company thinks that having big screens will draw kids closer to them and in most castance of less than 2 metres. They come up with medical proof and whatnot, but to us it just sounds like a lame excuse not to release screens smaller than 70″!
