IN BUGS WE TRUST !

Dear dear readers, we know you have been experiencing a lot since the release of this new Akiba version… so, YES, there are bugs (we called Tentokill, but they refused to fly to Japan), there are things that do not work as they should… if there are no pictures on the forum, yes, that’s a bug… but do not worry, all these things are being handled with as we speak and should be resolved soon. Since the law does not allow slavery, we need to allow Lou, our PHP Master, a few hours of sleep per day… but just to give you an idea, he will still spraying his bug can yesterday morning at 3am.

Something about the ads and the page width… the fact that not everything is visible on the home page was a choice that was made and we’ll stick to it, but we’re going to try to put more text on the home page anyway, but in a few weeks (maybe a month if Lou doesn’t take his daily dose of energy drinks) we will make the site wider so that the text column is bigger than the column on the right. In any case, you’ll get bigger images (525 wide instead of 500) and I would like to raise this to 600 or 640, so the site will become wider for sure. If you’re impatient to see all these changes appear and if you think Lou has a comfy life at this moment, please contact us, because we could use some help in order to avoid that this work slows down the further deployment of the Spanish, chinese and German sites (and those sites are ready to go as we speak).

And no, the new sites did not stop visitors from coming (even though they needed to click). We’re not the only ones to change and since Monday, we got more than 50000 visitors per day whereas last week we hit 45-47000.

Thank you, dear Akiba reader, for your patience, and we hope you’ll stick with us all the way through this crazy adventure!

Oh, one more thing (where did I hear that before): we’re launching a new site in November… but more on that later
