Toshiba CEATEC 2005
Toshiba had one of the most interesting booths with a lot of novelties but also Fuel Cells all over the place.
The Toshiba Gigashot V10, a direct competitor of Panasonic’s D-Snap, was present, and to be honest, it didn’t give us a good vibe as the product is too big. The video quality seems to be up-to-par though, so we’ll have to wait and see…

The X30 Gigabeat was also at the CETEAC, and this looks like a nice evolution of the Gigabeat range.

at Toshiba, it’s all about HD-DVD, the arch enemy of the Blu-Ray (normal, because Toshiba is Mr HD-DVD after all). A HD-DVD drive for laptops, HD player (I managed to mess up the video demo by opening the lid while the movie was playing… not good) and a Toshiba laptop with a HD-DVD player (HD-DVd on a 17″ screen… a killer combination).

Fuel Cell galora at Toshiba with some very interesting prototypes, like this (working) Fuel Cell battery for PC’s and its cartridge, 2 Gigabeat Fuel Cell MP3 players, a prototype mobile phone, a PMP with Digital TV Tuner and a Bluetooth headset powered by a Fuel Cell.
