Skylife to start 3D TV broadcasting in Korea this May and start Demo at WIS 2010.

The Korean Satellite TV provider, SkyLife will start broadcast 3D sport events from this May in Korean. Offering demo at WIS 2010, Skylife and its Skylife 3D programs will soon get their own dedicated 3D channel in South Korea and said to be investing around $4.5 million in 3D technology for this May transmission. Skylife also planning to offer by 2012 a dedicated 3D VOD service for its customers.
In talks with different company provided including Samsung, LG, Fuji Film, Disney and Dreamworks, Skylife is hoping to get more 3D contents soon to Korean viewers.
