Epson’s PMP

Remember the portable photo viewers that Epson put on the market a while ago. They had everything to be true PMP (CPU power, screen, HDD) and now Epson finally unveiled their P-4000 that has a 3.8″ screen, 80Gb HDD space and can read Mpeg4 files at max 30fps/3Mbps in 640×480 (which is the maximum that for example a Xacti C4/5 can churn out). It’s also possible to read Mpeg1/2 and even put a few DVD’s in the machine’s belly. As usual, the P-4000 has a CF 1/2 and an SD port. When it comes to music, it reads MP3 and AAC. Dimensions of this beast are 147×31.4x84mm and it weighs 415g.
