Sony consider to develop Tablet

Based on the recent Bloomberg interview with Mike Abary, senior vice president of Sony’s Information Technology Products, we are now assured that Sony, not surprisingly, have really been considering a Tablet for very long time, in fact, for years. The reason they still are not on the markets and seem to be behind the latest trend of the times is just to be completely sure that there is high demand for Tablet devices on the markets and the consumers do purchase them.
What do you think? Does this wait-and-see strategy make sense or would it leave them behind their competitors in the Tablet market such as Apple, HP or Dell? After all, there is the fact that “Nothing ventured, Nothing gained”…
