Sharp Solar Cells-equipped Solar Car to lead the Kenyan Open Marathon
Announced today, the “ELA” solar car equipped with Sharp polycrystalline residential solar cells will be leading the 2nd Sotokoto Safari Marathon, scheduled to take place this Sunday (May 23) in the capital of the equatorial country of Kenya. At the driver seat will be the professional Japanese racer Kenjiro Shinozuka who participated in solar car races in South Africa and Australia as well as in the Dakar Rally.
