Sharp announces the availability of its new 3D Camera module with 720p Video capabilities.

Early April, Sharp stunned the world with its 3D touchscreen LCD, and during the press conference, Sharp demonstrate the 3D capability with a live Camera using Sharp 3D module in order to capture live video, a module now made official by Sharp.
Our new 3D Camera module, made to be used either on compact point and shoot on in any kind of Smartphone, PDA or Gaming devices it not only capable to shoot 3D photo, but also 720p 3D Video as well ! If there is no immediate date on when a possible phone will feature such 3D Camera module, we can however assume a possible launch for this winter in Japan.
