Canon introduce a new High-End Scanner in the US with CanoScan 9000F

INTRODUCING THE HIGHEST-RESOLUTION PHOTO IMAGE SCANNER FROM CANON U.S.A., THE CANOSCAN 9000F SCANNER

Canon today announced the launch of the CanoScan 9000F Color Image Scanner featuring the highest-resolution to date for a Canon scanner product. With a maximum color resolution of 9600 x 9600 dpi our high-speed CCD scanner with built-in professional film scanning is ideal for people interested in preserving their work or family memories in a safe and easy way without sacrificing overall image quality.

The CanoScan 9000F is also capable of scanning up to four 35mm slides or 12 35mm filmstrips at one time further adding to its archival capabilities.

To increase overall ease-of-use, there are seven “EZ Buttons” allowing consumers to quickly Auto Scan, copy, e-mail or create a PDF file with just one push of a button. Additionally, the color image scanner utilizes a white LED which eliminates warm-up time while decreasing power consumption.

The estimated selling price for the CanoScan 9000F Color Image Scanner is $249.99.

    It’s CanonScan9000, not CanonScran9000.

I think the webmaster needs to get a new keyboard? :)

By the way, I tested this new scanner at the local Canon corporate store.
It’s really… really… slow, compared to the older 8000 model. Perhaps
this is due to the increased resolution?

The good thing is that it’s quieter and has brighter results.

Unfortunately, it is still made in Red China. :(

Actually, it’s CanoScan 9000F, so maybe you need a new keyboard as well. ;)
