[Quick-Review] Yuento Talking Clock… Just because you’re too lazy to learn to read time

[Quick-Review] Yuento Talking Clock… Just because you’re too lazy to learn to read time

Initially designed for Japanese kids to be able to know time, the Yuento Talking Clock does exactly what its name suggests. Hidden in a cute little shape with a “clown nose”-like button, the Yuento Talking clock will tell you the time if you just press its unique round button. Capable of telling you the time in both English and Japanese, the Yuento Talking Clock hides in its bottom a real digital clock with everything you need to control time and even to set on an alarm.

Now if the overall concept is pretty cool, well designed and well build, we have to admit that the choice of voices to tell time is far to be the best one ever. Indeed while the Japanese voice is barely easy to understand, the English once or should I say the Engrish used to tell time just sound like a good old Japanese joke and even worse than my own English (Yeah, Really it is possible!!!)… Pitty really since we really loved the object itself… We just hope that Yuento will provide a newer version of its Talking Clock with a better selection of voices.
