ASUS N61JV: NVIDIA Optimus featuring notebook for the U.K.

The main highlight of this ASUS model for the UK market is that it features NVIDIA’s Optimus technology that promises longer battery life and automatically switches between two-GPUs, which in this case are between Intel’s GMA 4500MHD and NVIDIA GeForce GT325M with 1GB dedicated graphics memory.
Other specs also would not disappoint you at all: 16-inch HD TFT (1366×768, Color-Shine), a Corei5-430 CPU @ 2.27GHz, 500 GB (5400rpm) of HDD, 4096MB (2048×2) of DDR3 1066 RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit), built-in 3G, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth,8-in-1 card reader (SD,MMC, MS, MS-Pro, XD, Smart Media, miniSD w/adapter, MS-Duo), 2.0 MP web camera, Blu-ray Combo drive, one USB 3.0 port, 2 x USB 2.0 port, HDMI, e-SATA , VGA, and even an integrated numeric pad.
And of course all these would come with the drawback of heavy weight, 2.80kg (with 6 cell battery) and for a price tag of around £949.
