Samsung’s Skype-enabled, 7000 and 8000 series High Definition 3D LED TVs reportedly sold over 10,000 units in just 6 weeks since their launch on February 2010. Half of the TVs sold were 55″ models for which the major reason is considered to be their capability to convert 2D stereoscopic images to 3D ones with just one push of a button.
