Sanyo added two new slim and lightweight Full HD models to its Xacti line of dual cameras (video cameras), the DMX-CG100 and DMX-GH1. Both are capable of Full HD video (1920 x 1080 (60i)) and 14 mega-pixel HD photos, feature 2.7 inch TFT color widescreen LCD, 1/2.33 inch CMOS sensor, 5x optical zoom lens with 6.8mm to 34.0 mm focus range and Sanyo’s “Double Range Zoom” technology allowing users to swtich between two zoom ranges, a Wide Mode (40 mm to 240 mm) and a Tele Mode (80 mm to 480 mm). Other specs include support fro SD/ SDHC (up to 32GB) and SDXC (up to 64GB) memory cards, JPEG format for photos, MPEG-4/H.264 format for videos and approx. 50MB of internal memory.

DMX-CG100 (upright model) is offered in White, Red, and Blue while the DMX-GH1 is offered in Silver, Pink, and Blue. They will be available as of April 16, 2010. No word on pricing.
