Sony delays the date of launch of 40”and 46” NX800 series HDTVs in Japan

Sony Japan announced that they had delayed the date of launch for the 40″ (KDL-40NX800) and 46″ (KDL-46NX800) NX series HDTV models from the due date of April 30th to May 20th for the former model and to June 10th for the latter. They state the reason as the demand exceeded the original anticipated supply of key components
were due to be released in Sony’s home country on April 30th, but has now been pushed back. The 40″ will be released now on , and the 46″ will be released there on.
Sony Japan explains the reason for the delay as “the demand exceeded the original anticipated the supply of key components.”
