Samsung Wave gets DivX certification for HD video playback

Samsung Wave

We introduced Samsung Wave smartphone back on February 15 with our news “Run with the Wave of Samsung: World’s first smartphone with Super AMOLED display and Bluetooth 3.0″.

This model seems to be one of  Samsung’s strong hands as it has been granted another feature making it ‘the first’ again. Fruit of the collaboration between Samsung and DivX, this time Samsung Wave boasts being World’s first HD phone with DivX certification.

Next to follow the suit will be Samsung Galaxy S.
