Sony New Alarm Clock Radio Projector..and what not

Sony’s new Alarm Clock radio, codenamed ICF-C717PJ, seems to possess a whole lot more than you can expect to find in a usual desktop alarm clock:
With its compact body of just 215 x 60.5 x 58 mm (W x H x D) and weight of just 0.62kg, it packs backlit LCD display with adjustable brightness, AM/ FM radio, variable-angle built-in projector allowing you to project time on the wall or ceiling as well as an input for iPod or other digital music players.
You are also not desperately bound by a buzzer type of alarm only as it also offers more favorable options of radio music, five pre-installed nature sounds, or music of your choice from your connected music player. The alarm function also features the usual single/dual alarm with snooze and sleep timer.
Sony seems to have worked really meticulously on this piece as on top of all those mentioned, they didn’t forget to include a back up battery just in case of a temporary power failure when it is plugged in.
Initially it will be available in Europe as of April. No word on pricing or availability in other regions.
