D-TR1, Toshiba’s latest Digital TV Tuner with USB HDD recording
Japan has not yet officially jumped into the Digital area and while we still have 9 months left before being unable to watch analog programs on TV, there are apparently a lot of people who still own a non Digital Capable TV. And apparently many of them are not even planning to dump their old school TV for a shiny new LCD or PDP one…
For these Old School folks, Toshiba is releasing a new Digital TV Tuner in Japan the D-TR1 that can record 1Seg programs on a SD card to be later on watched on a mobile phone as well as recording HD programs on a HDD via USB.
