Panasonic offers 5 news Strada PND in Japan

PND are gaining for momentum in Japan, a country were in the past GPS were usually “glued” to your car, but for some reasons, it seems that the demand in Japan is shifting to a more easy to carry and swappable PND system rather than the good all car mounted GPS.
Available with either a 7” or 5” QVGA touch screen, our 5 PND features all 8GB of internal memory, a 1Seg TV Tuner and MP3/WMA support with the exception on the low-end model the CN-SP300L-K. On the other hands only the High-end 7” and 5” version, respectively the CN-MP700VD-K and CN-MP500VD-K offers the Japanese VICS traffic control.
